1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how MeScore ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information. MeScore is developed by Eugenio Casale, published under Eugenio Casale on the Apple App Store and under Second Dream on the Google Play Store.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We designed MeScore to collect as little personal data as possible while still providing you with a great experience.

By using MeScore, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

When you create an account on MeScore, we collect:

Email address — used solely for account creation and authentication.

That's it. We do not collect your name, phone number, physical address, payment information, or any other personal details beyond your email.

2.2 Information Generated Through Use

When you use MeScore, the App stores data related to your activity, including:

Daily mood scores (1-10) and the dates you submitted them.
Streak data (current streak, longest streak, total days voted).
Points balance and emoji packs you have purchased with points.
Your active emoji pack preference.
Your unique Friend ID (an 8-digit code generated at signup).
Your friendships (which users you follow and who follows you).

This data is stored in the App's database, which is hosted by Adalo (our app development platform). It is associated with your account and is necessary for the App to function.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or files.
We do not collect device identifiers for advertising purposes.
We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.
We do not use cookies (the App is a native mobile application).
We do not collect health data beyond the mood scores you voluntarily submit.
We do not collect biometric data of any kind.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above exclusively to:

Create and maintain your account.
Display your mood history, streaks, and stats within the App.
Enable social features (Friends Pulse) so you and your friends can share mood scores.
Operate the points and emoji shop system.

We do not use your data for any other purpose. We do not analyze, profile, or make automated decisions based on your mood data.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal data with third parties for marketing, advertising, or any commercial purpose.

Your data may be accessible to:

Adalo, Inc. — our app development and hosting platform. Adalo stores your account and app data on its servers. Adalo's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.

If you use the Friends Pulse feature, the following information is visible to users you have added as friends:

Your display name.
Your most recent mood score and active emoji pack.
Whether you have voted today.

Your email address and Friend ID are never shared with other users (Friend ID is only shared when you choose to copy and send it yourself).

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you may contact us at cheipstudio@gmail.com and we will process your request within 30 days.

Upon account deletion, we will remove all data associated with your account, including mood scores, streaks, points, friendships, and your email address.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. The App communicates with Adalo's servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to the database is restricted to authorized personnel only.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

MeScore is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Right to access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
Right to erasure — request deletion of your data and account.
Right to data portability — request your data in a structured format.

9. Third-Party Services

MeScore is built on the Adalo platform. By using the App, your data is processed and stored by Adalo's infrastructure. We encourage you to review Adalo's privacy policy for details on how they handle data.

The App does not integrate any third-party advertising networks, analytics services, or social media SDKs.

10. Advertising

MeScore does not display advertisements. We do not share your data with advertisers. There are no ads in the App.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MeScore ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you ("User", "you") and Eugenio Casale ("Developer", "we", "us"), the creator and publisher of MeScore.

2. Description of the App

MeScore is a mood tracking application that allows users to:

Rate their day on a scale of 1 to 10.
View mood history and statistics over time.
Build daily streaks and earn points.
Unlock emoji packs using earned points.
See friends' mood scores through the Friends Pulse feature.

MeScore is not a medical device, therapeutic tool, or substitute for professional mental health care. The App is designed for personal wellbeing tracking and social connection only.

3. Account Registration

To use MeScore, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for:

Providing accurate and current information.
Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
All activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that you have your parent's or guardian's consent to use the App.

4. User Conduct

When using MeScore, you agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Harass, abuse, or harm other users through the social features.
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorization.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or its components.
Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to interact with the App.
Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Virtual Currency and Emoji Packs

MeScore features an in-app points system and an Emoji Shop:

Points are earned by logging your mood daily and maintaining streaks.
Points can be spent to unlock emoji packs within the App.
Points have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or refunded for real currency.
Emoji packs are virtual items with no monetary value outside the App.

We reserve the right to modify the points system, pack pricing, and availability at any time.

6. Friends and Social Features

The Friends Pulse feature allows users to share mood scores with each other:

You share your unique Friend ID voluntarily with people you choose to connect with.
By adding a friend, you consent to sharing your display name, most recent mood score, emoji pack, and voting status with that person.
You can remove friends at any time, which immediately revokes their access to your mood data.

We are not responsible for how other users may interpret or act upon the mood scores you share.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in MeScore, including but not limited to the design, code, graphics, emoji artwork, animations, and branding, is the intellectual property of Eugenio Casale and Cheip Studio. All rights are reserved.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

MeScore is not a medical or mental health tool. The mood scores and data presented in the App are for personal reference only and should not be used as a basis for medical decisions. If you are experiencing mental health difficulties, please seek professional help.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EUGENIO CASALE AND CHEIP STUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (which, given the App is free, is zero).

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination:

Your right to use the App ceases immediately.
Your points, emoji packs, and other virtual items may be forfeited.
You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us at cheipstudio@gmail.com.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you within the App.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
